I hate eating a meal for breakfast! If I eat a meal I usually feel sluggish and even nauseous but the rest of the day usually ends up a binge fest if I don't have something. The Classic Protein tastes great, is gentle on my stomach, and helps me feel satisfied until I am ready for a solid meal. Also, being a diabetic, I am always thrilled with how I feel and my numbers 2-hours after a shake. I definitely recommend the Classic Protein Chocolate.

This protein is very basic - but perfect for many smoothie recipes that have their own unique flavors. My favorite is to use this protein in "green" smoothies where you are looking for the clean taste of spinach, kale, coconut water or other ingredients to stand out (instead of vanilla or chocolate). The texture isn't gritty or chalky like some rice proteins.

1 cup coconut milk
½ cup water (optional)
1 scoop Vanilla Classic Protein
1 tablespoon ground flax
½ frozen banana
1 cup berries
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
Hazelnut Chocolate Protein Smoothie
2 frozen bananas
2 teaspoons Sunwarrior cacao powder
¾ cup coconut milk
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 scoop chocolate Classic protein
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
