Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup hemp seeds (I like organic, non-GMO hemp seeds from Navitas Naturals)
  • 1/2 cup arugula
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 stalk fennel, cut into small chunks so it can blend easily
  • 1 fresh lemon, juiced
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • Sea salt to taste

Variations:

  • Instead of hemp seeds, use 1 tablespoon Sunwarrior natural protein
  • Use spinach instead of arugula
  • Use cucumber instead of fennel
  • Add a chopped red apple for sweetness
  • Use fresh lime instead of lemon
