Green Pea Hummus


Home cooking has always been about making the most of what’s on hand. This take on hummus is no different. 

Hummus has long been a kitchen favorite, traditionally made with chickpeas and shared around the world as a simple, tabletop dip. This recipe takes a gentle detour from the classic by swapping one humble legume for another. 

Naturally rich in plant-based protein, green peas bring their own mild taste and nourishing amino acids to the bowl, while a scoop of Harvest Organic Pea Protein adds an extra boost of plant-powered protein without changing the character of the dip. Together, they reimagine what hummus can be in both nutrition and flavor. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup blanched green peas 

  • 1 scoop Harvest Organic Pea Protein 

  • 1/4 cup tahini 

  • 3 tbsp lemon juice 

  • 1 clove minced garlic 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

Instructions 

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve immediately or chill to let flavors come together. Enjoy!
