When in the kitchen I always go for simplicity and enjoyment, and with my newest concoction I know I definitely hit the mark with both. This smoothie is incredibly easy to make, nutritionally dense, and extremely delicious!
Carrots are one of my favorite veggies, and I think they serve as an excellent base for smoothies due to their sweet, rich taste and creamy composure. Combined with the sweet taste of banana, Sunwarrior chocolate protein, and a full cup of green spinach, this smoothie is a nutritional powerhouse packed full of fiber, protein, and a host of vitamins and minerals all in under 250 calories. Thus making this chocolate carrot cake treat an excellent way to start the day, end a workout, or enjoy as a very nutritious dessert.
Chocolate Carrot Cake Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water and ice (or unsweetened plant milk of your choice)
- 1 scoop Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Chocolate Protein
- 2 medium sized carrots
- 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup spinach
Method:
