Watercress Watermelon Salad

The always entertaining celebrity vegan chef Jason Wrobel dishes up a scrumptious antioxidant-filled summer salad just for you. Each bite is a sweet and spicy treat that's rich in both flavor and antioxidants. Yep, it's time to throw that garden party all your friends have been waiting for.

  • 1 head watercress
  • 1 ½ cup watermelon, diced
  • White Alder vegan cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan crystal salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Start by throwing a whole head of watercress in a mixing bowl. Add some watermelon, vegan cheese, and olive oil. Finish it all up by flavoring it with lemon juice & zest, salt, and black pepper. Because most of these ingredients are delicate, throw the tongs out for this recipe and use your hands to toss them together. That's it. All that's left is putting the fork to the dish and then to the mouth.
