Vegan Egg Nog Protein Shake

Take the egg out of eggnog and waddayou get? An amazing holiday beverage! This tasty vegan egg nog will deck your halls with amazing!

Christmas trees, snow, and egg nog all go hand in hand. Egg nog must be one of my favorite Christmas drinks. Every year I look forward to that creamy and sweet drink that is full of holiday spirit. Because this is vegan, we omitted the main ingredient in egg nog . . . egg! Don’t fret, this drink is equally as delicious and packs a punch of protein. Many of the store bought egg nog have an enormous amount of sugar. I scaled down the sugar in this recipe without sacrificing the sweet. This recipe is super easy to make and can be served on a day to day basis or for a holiday party! Snuggle up to a fire, put on those comfortable pyjamas, and enjoy this special time of year with friends and family.

Cinnamon has been used for flavor and medicine throughout the world for centuries. It is believed to lower blood sugar and cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and treat yeast infections. Medjool dates boost brain power and work as an anti-inflammatory due to the magnesium content. All of this along with the many health benefits of the rest of the ingredients makes this a powerful beverage!
