Sweet Potato Guacamole Sliders

“Sweet potato toast” is becoming more and more popular! It is a great alternative to give your body its carb fix without the gluten while providing vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Try these sweet potato sliders for your next picnic or cookout! 


Sweet Potato Guacamole Sliders

  • 2 large Hass avocados
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 lime
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh cilantro

*optional capful Liquid Light (for detoxing electrolytes and antioxidants)

Sweet Potatoes

  • 3 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Wash and slice sweet potatoes into ½ inch thick rounds.
  2. Toss sweet potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh ground pepper. Spread out of a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for 10–15 minutes, then flip sides and cook for another 10–15 minutes.
  4. While sweet potatoes are baking, prepare guacamole. Mash all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  5. Once sweet potatoes are removed from the oven and cooled, place a spoonful of guacamole on each slider, garnish, and enjoy!
