Missing out on your favorite creamy yogurt? Yogurt made out of dairy is filled with at least 12–25g of sugar per serving and they are also packed with artificial color and fruit flavors. Consuming these kinds of ingredients on a daily basis or even weekly basis does your body no good. High amounts of sugar and artificial colorings have been proven to be leading causes for mood swings, depression, anxiety, and even generating cancer cells.
Creating your own homemade yogurt made of 100% natural ingredients, dairy free, color free and sugar free is the best way to go. And absolutely tastes better than the usual yogurt.
Raw Vegan Coconut Yogurt
- 2 cups raw coconut meat
- 1/2cup coconut water
- 1-2teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Spoon into a jar and place into refrigerator until ready to eat.
