Before pumpkin flavor goes out of style faster than a black sweater after Memorial Day, you have got to try this pumpkin spice latte.
The always hilarious and talented vegan chef and TV personality Jason Wrobel, aka J-Wro, is at it again, putting his kitchen to good use making us something special. This time he’s cranking out a Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s super popular before and after the holidays. Pretty much as long as it’s cold out there, people will be flocking to this beverage.
Perfect Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients:
- 12 ounces almond milk
- 20 ounces coffee
- ½ cup organic pumpkin puree
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- ¼ cup organic maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons coconut palm sugar
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seed oil
- 1 tablespoon organic extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 scoop Warrior Blend vanilla protein
Directions:
For the base, start with your favorite non-dairy milk, like coconut, rice, or almond, and add to it your coffee in a blender. Add in organic pumpkin puree. To make it taste even more like the real thing, you’ll need some spices, pumpkin pie style spices. Add in cinnamon, sea salt, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. Add organic maple syrup and coconut palm sugar to bring the natural sweetness without anything artificial. For an even richer flavor and some healthy fats, J-Wro spoons in organic pumpkin seed oil and extra virgin coconut oil. Warrior Blend then tops it all off with a creamy vanilla bean flavor and a dose of clean, quality protein.
Blend away. Serve them up, and add straws. You don’t need fancy drinks from those expensive coffee shops. You can rock these babies at home for a fraction of the cost with even more flavor. Make one today!
