Peanut Butter Fudge

Don’t you just love it when two great ideas come together? If so you’ve gotta try this peanut butter fudge!
One of my favorite ingredients is peanut butter and I love to come up with new recipes containing peanut butter. The other night I had a brilliant idea of combining most of my favorite ingredients to make a "peanut butter fudge." It turned out so good and it was delicious! It did not last long!

Health benefits of peanut butter: Peanut butter has protein as well as potassium — which lowers the risk of high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. It also contains fiber for your bowel health, healthy fats, magnesium to fortify your bones and muscles, Vitamin E and antioxidants
Health benefits of honey (for our vegetarian friends): Honey is nature's energy booster. Not only does honey have great taste, the benefits go beyond that. Honey is a natural source of carbohydrates which helps give our bodies strength and energy. It can instantly boosting the performance, endurance and reduce muscle fatigue of athletes. The natural sugars play an important role in preventing fatigue during exercise. The glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy. It is known that honey has also been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant compared to other types of sugar.
Peanut Butter Fudge
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup coconut oil
- 3/4 cup honey (or sweetener of your choice if you’re vegan)
- 1 scoop Sunwarrior Warrior Blend Vanilla protein
Measure out the coconut oil, and stick in microwave for 20 seconds, so it melts. Then combine all ingredients, place into a flat dish or 9 by 11 Pyrex dish, freeze for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy immediately! If you have any leftovers, stick back into freezer or it will quickly melt.
