Put the jingle back in your pocketbook by doing it yourself! Homemade coconut milk is the easy, healthy way to savings!
I like to save money on groceries, and a few different ways I do that is buy food that is on sale and make my own food such as granola, energy bars, and recently, coconut milk! Coconut milk, almond milk, soymilk, almond & coconut milk, cashew milk, etc. can all be pretty pricey. I usually get the unsweetened almond & coconut milk when I need milk. However, recently I wondered about making my own coconut milk. Most of the coconut and almond milks I buy are pretty healthy because there aren’t too many ingredients and they are unsweetened. However, I figured making my own coconut milk would not only be cheaper but would contain fewer ingredients. Have you found a coconut milk at the grocery store with only 3 ingredients?
Well, I’m giving you a recipe to make your own 3-ingredient coconut milk. That’s right. Only 3 ingredients! Can of coconut milk, water, and agave (or your favorite sweetener). When you make it, you can use whatever sweetener you would prefer. I usually use honey or agave when I bake and cook, and for this recipe, I decided to use agave since it’s less viscous and blends together better than honey. {6avqtgje}
