I know it sounds weird, but don’t knock it till you try it because this one is delicious and so easy to make. I have fed it to popcorn addicts many times and they LOVE it! The addition of maca helps give energy, the nutritional yeast gives it a cheesy flavor and nutritional boost without the dairy, the turmeric and cumin helps reduce inflammation, and the raw coconut oil helps burn fat. Gracious Living Superfood RAW Vegan, Cheesy “Popcorn”
- 1 head cauliflower, chopped into bite size popcorn pieces
- 2–3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon raw maca powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon liquid raw coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Himalayan sea salt to taste
Put everything in a bowl. If you have a lid that fits on the bowl, shake it up really well, otherwise stir well to make sure all the oils and powders are evenly distributed.
Superfood variations and additions:

Instead of eating it as “popcorn”, use it as a topping on a leafy salad, or as a side dish with your meal.
