Gracious Living Cranberry Bliss Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is chock-full of nutrition. We have a double dose of Sunwarrior goodness, from the Ormus Supergreens and vanilla Warrior Blend, to ensure optimal, clean, plant-based nutrition. Cranberries are a wonderful fruit, often underutilized in smoothie recipes. They offer high amounts of vitamin C, manganese, fiber, and phytonutrients that have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties particularly good for the immune system, cardiovascular system, and many parts of the digestive tract. The combination of cranberries, raspberries, and bananas in this recipe offers a tasty balance of tart and sweet. Lots of variation ideas are included at the bottom for added nutrition and different, delicious tastes.

Gracious Living Cranberry Bliss Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 frozen banana (makes it nice and creamy when blending frozen bananas)
  • Juice of 1 to 2 fresh limes
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Sunwarrior Ormus Supergreens powder
  • 1 serving Sunwarrior Warrior Blend vanilla protein powder
  • 3 to 4 cups of water (depending on how thick or thin you like it)
  • Handful ice

Directions:

Blend till creamy and smooth. Enjoy a smoothie that’s sweet, with a hint of tartness, and full of plant powered goodness to energize, fuel, and protect your body.

Variations:

*Add a sprinkle of cinnamon and cardamom for a digestive boost that adds depth to the flavor of the smoothie

*Use a dairy-free nut or seed milk of your choice instead of water to make it creamier (Gracious Living favorites include coconut milk, hazelnut milk, hemp seed milk, or almond milk, in that order)

*Use fresh squeezed orange juice instead of water or nut/seed milk

*Add another fruit to make it sweeter and add more vitamins and minerals (mangoes or blueberries go really well with this one)

*Use fresh lemon juice instead of lime juice

*Add fresh mint
