Chocolate-Mint Mousse-Smoothie

For a minty blast of winter, this chocolate Minty Mousse Smoothie is like hitting the Alpine slopes!

It began with the need for a creamy thick chocolate smoothie, which always means it’s new recipe time. Out came the “I-love-my-Harley-Pasternak-high-speed-blender,” and it was go-time for creation!

First, I used the blender to whip my matcha power and cashew milk to a frothy steamy latte; then, I washed my greens. From there, it’s a simple toss of ingredients into the blender and voila, this creamy concoction that is heavenly.

I am so blessed – I love life, have a total devotion to living it fully, creating and enjoying amazing food and consciously sharing as much laughter, love and yes, delish food and drink with family, friends, colleagues and clients. Join me in a toast to us all once you make this.

If you are celebrating a special occasion, this is a perfect recipe for brunch or dessert.

Breakfast or snack, dessert, pre-post-workout meal.

Chocolate-Mint Mousse-Smoothie

Prep Time
Total Time

  • ½ cup of your preferred liquid (non-dairy milk or coconut water)
  • 1 heaping cup leafy greens and stems (Frisee, Romaine, spinach, chard)
  • ¼ small avocado (approx 2 tbsps)
  • 1 small frozen banana, chopped chunks
  • 2 teaspoons hemp seeds
  • 2 teaspoons flax seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Sunbutter
  • 1 serving Ormus Super Greens with mint
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ inch piece fresh ginger
  • Tiny pinch sea salt
  • Approx. ¾ cup crushed ice or as desired
  • Garnish ideas – Fresh berries, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, granola

Measure all of the ingredients into your power blender in the order above. Blend using the tamper beginning on low and powering it up to high. Add additional liquid as needed.

Pour into a tall glass, garnish as desired and enjoy this creamy, dreamy chocolate-mint treat with a spoon and a latte of your choice.

(If you prefer a thinner sip-able smoothie, simply add more liquid.)

Teri’s Tips:

I infuse this blend with added nutrients – electrolytes via Liquid Light, Maca root Powder, and acerola cherry powder (Vitamin C). In the winter, I add Vitamin D as well.
