Jackfruit is the new plant-based meat that is taking the taco industry by storm. It is not processed faux meat. It is vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. Even though it is a fruit, the neutral taste of jackfruit can be made sweet or savory with any dish. The meaty texture is what has plant-based taco lovers replacing beans with jackfruit.
