Box Jump Exercise Variations

Fitness Trainer and Healthy Housewife Marzia Prince shares three ways you can turn a sturdy box into a heart-pumping cardio exercise.

The first exercise is a simple box jump. Begin facing the box and then with both feet jump on and off. Next up is the running box jump. Stand with your legs straddling the box. In running formation, alternate jumping up and down on the box. For the third exercise, stand parallel to the box, jump sideways onto the box with both feet, and then off the other side. Then you’ll jump back the other direction.

All these exercises can be performed in 3 sets of 15 or you can time yourself for 30 seconds. You better get ready to sweat with this workout! It’s a doozy!
