It’s day 9 of Koya’s 10 day smoothie challenge, and Koya reminds us all to stop the stress when it comes to all the smoothies and recipes with their different ingredients. She encourages us all to just do the best we can and know that that’s enough. So onto the smoothie! Is your mouth watering just from knowing the name of today’s smoothie? PomPom Peach Smoothie. Yum! And mind the message: Don’t mess. Do your best. Forget the rest.

10 Day Smoothie Detox: Day 9 - PomPom Peach

Prep Time
INGREDIENTS
- 12 ounces water, juice, or favorite nut milk
- 2 kale leaves
- 2 cups frozen peaches
- 2 cups pomegranate arils
- 4 basil leaves
- 1 lime, juiced
- Pinch of cayenne
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ –1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon orange essence
- 1 dropper full of stevia
- 1 scoop Sunwarrior vanilla protein
DIRECTIONS
Begin by adding your base of water, juice, or favorite nut milk. Add your greens (Koya uses kale). Next add frozen peaches and pomegranate. To this, add your favorite herbs to help clean bacteria out of your body. Squeeze in a little lime juice, add a pinch of cayenne, some cinnamon, and turmeric. Throw in orange zest to help the smoothie pop, and throw in a little sweetener if that’s your cup of tea. Finish up with a scoop or two of plant based protein powder. Press that little blend button, dance away, pour, and drink up. You’ve just blended your way to a little bit of yum in your life.
