Smoothie lover, yogi, and health advocate, Koya Webb, is coming in hot with another smoothie on day 4 of her 10 day smoothie detox challenge. Today Koya brings you a morning vitality smoothie that’s full of ingredients you may not have used in a smoothie before. That’s okay, there’s a first time for everything!

10 Day Smoothie Detox: Day 4 - Morning Vitality

Prep Time
Total Time

  • 8 ounces orange juice
  • 1 fresh bananas
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups vitality mix (mango, nectarine, sweet potato, carrots)
  • 4 dandelions leaves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 pinch turmeric
  • Dash black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom seed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 drops stevia
  • 1 ounce Sunwarrior Liquid Light

For the base Koya uses fresh OJ. That’s right, rich-in-vitamin C-orange juice. Like usual, add bananas – both fresh and frozen. Next, place in mango, nectarine, sweet potato, and carrots. Now come the dandelions, which are high in vitamin K, and are great for digestion. That’s right, those little yellow weeds growing in your lawn are a great addition to your diet. To spice it up, add a little ginger, cayenne, turmeric, and black pepper. Toss in a little cardamom, a little vanilla, and a little stevia or sweetener of choice. Finish up with Sunwarrior Liquid Light for extra trace minerals and fulvic acid to help your body absorb all the wonderful nutrients from the ingredients you just added to your smoothie. Blend, devour, and enjoy the party in your mouth. If you weren’t awake yet, you sure are awake now!
