Super Food Breakfast: Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding

It's a warm summer morning and you want something cool, simple, and new for breakfast. We've got you covered! Celebrity Vegan Chef Jason Wrobel whips up a chia pudding that’s a fantastic breakfast or dessert.

Strawberry Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:

Strawberry Hempseed Milk

  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 cup full strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch salt
  • 10 drops stevia

Chia Pudding

  • 1 cup dry chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • ¼ cup cacao nibs
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • Handful blueberries

Directions:

Begin by making your own fresh strawberry hemp milk. To a blender add water, hemp seeds, strawberries, vanilla, salt, and stevia. Blend for 30 seconds. To a large mixing bowl add chia seeds and slowly fold in 3 cups of the milk (which should be all of it), being sure to stir it thoroughly. Stir in maca, cacao nibs, coconut, and blueberries, and let sit for a bit. After you have patiently bided your 15 minutes, it’s time to put it to your face, but not until you make it look pretty! Throw some pudding in your favorite bowl and top it off with strawberries and coconut. You’ll enjoy this amazing, protein-rich breakfast treat.
