Good health combines a healthy diet, active lifestyle, and clocking enough hours of sleep. These superfoods help you with all of that to help make you your best!
While you may have already balanced out your healthy lifestyle, there are some superfoods that will boost your immunity, your endurance level and improve your sleep pattern. While for some of us, these may look like three different segments; according to scientists, all of these are intertwined and work hand-in-hand.
What you eat affects your mind, body, and sleep pattern. Your sleep pattern affects your mood, your diet, and so on. These superfoods can take you to the next level.
These brain-shaped nuts are packed with antioxidants, selenium, vitamin E, and are a great source of serotonin. They are also rich in protein, fiber, healthy omega 3s, and biotin. A handful of these can replenish your body, boost immunity, and leave your skin clean and glowing.
Healthy kale is found everywhere: smoothies, salads, dehydrated chips, or even kale candy. It’s impossible to miss this green. But it does do great justice for the fame it has obtained. It’s rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, calcium, manganese, small amounts of protein, and loads of fiber.

Coconut oil is packed with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory properties that can ward off any viral or bacterial infection. They are great to lubricate your joints and skin, are a great source of brain food, and, above all, keep you looking young and fresh.

They are also rich in anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties and are a great way to add more fruit to your diet with some amazing benefits like fiber, protein, zinc, folate, calcium, manganese, and iron.
Yes! This is not food, but technically, it is higher than food. One of the key ingredients to survival is water. This amazing liquid not only hydrates your body, but it is also the main way to regulate blood flow, aid organ functions, eliminate toxins, boost your activity level, and, of course, keep you alive!
Want to have it all at the same time? Here is my quick Superfood recipe:
- ¾ cup blueberries
- 1 cup water or coconut water
- ¾ cup kale leaves
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 tablespoon walnuts, soaked
Using a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
