Power Coffee Recipe

Coffee is a highly controversial drink in the health field. But if you’re a coffee drinker there are ways to improve the health of your favorite drink like with this power coffee recipe!

Some believe that it is absolutely unhealthy and some believe it has health benefits. While people are trying to come up with a real answer, you should know that the acidity in coffee can be reduced by drinking cold brew coffee and coffee is known to improve metabolism, elevate mood, improve endurance and strength, and, according to Dr. Gerson, it can be used to cure cancer by activating the liver.

I am a coffee lover, personally, and my day starts with a good cup of that amazing aromatic drink. Here is a coffee recipe that is healthy, delicious, and easy to make.


Power Coffee

  • 1 cup coffee (already made)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut butter
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or your favorite liquid sweetener
  • 1 scoop vanilla Sunwarrior Classic Protein


  1. Using a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Coconut Butter

Coconut butter, derived from real coconut is packed with powerful anti- inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It is known to improve metabolism, gets rid of bad bacteria, helps to lubricate joints and is packed with healthy fats. Above all, it gives your drink a smooth and creamy texture.

Maca Powder

Cacao powder which is the raw powdered form obtained from cocoa beans is not the same as cocoa powder, which is a processed form with added sugar and chemicals. Cacao powder is rich in antioxidants, magnesium, iron, calcium and it is known to cure mood swings, improve energy levels, reduce muscle cramps, prevents pre-mature aging and helps to improve cardiovascular function.

Sea Salt

Sea salt, unlike regular salt, is not iodized and hence contains only traces of iodine.
