Cilantro is a great addition to many recipes, and not only for its delicious and spicy taste. This leaf is full of nutrients essential to your health. It has more than twice the recommended daily allowance of both vitamin A and K per 100 grams. And like other dark leafy greens, it has a good amount of fiber and antioxidants to help clean up your cells and digestive system. If you’re coming down with a cold, cilantro also has some vitamin C, about 45% RDA, to help boost your immune system.

Did you start salivating when you read lime? Limes make the mouth water, aiding primary digestion, and the natural acid and flavonoids boost the digestion in the stomach.

So now that you know some of the health benefits of cilantro and lime (did we mention their vitamin C prevents scurvy?), prove their worth to your taste buds!
