FAQ’S

What is pea protein isolate made from?

Pea protein isolate is made from yellow peas (Pisum sativum). The protein is separated and refined from the peas to create a highly concentrated plant-based protein powder, typically containing over 80–90% protein. The result is a clean, light, and vegan-friendly protein ingredient that mixes easily into beverages or foods.

What is pea protein good for?

Pea protein is a convenient way to support your daily protein intake, which helps with muscle maintenance, recovery after exercise, and overall nutrition. Because it’s plant-based and naturally free from dairy, it’s also a popular option for people looking for vegan, lactose-free, or alternative protein sources.

Is pea protein better than whey protein?

Pea protein and whey protein each have their own benefits. Whey protein is a dairy-derived protein known for its fast absorption, while pea protein is a plant-based alternative that is naturally dairy-free and suitable for vegan diets. The best option often depends on your dietary preferences, lifestyle, and the type of protein experience you’re looking for.

What to avoid in protein powders?

Many people prefer protein powders that avoid banned substances, unnecessary fillers, and excessive additives that don’t add value. It’s often best to choose products with ecologically conscious manufacturing, transparent labeling, and thoughtful formulations. Our formula is as clean as it gets, made with organic ingredient list and developed to comply with the highest regulatory and quality standards.

Love the concept of clear

"Love the concept of clear & it has great flavor! However added to a 16. 9 oz bottle of water and found it to be very sweet for me and strong. So now I add a 1/2 scoop to my 24 oz water bottle twice a day to get the full 19g protein, which is much better for me. Just ordered the Peach tea flavor and am looking forward to trying it. Also ordered the Lemon Ice again."

Solid Clear Option

"Okay so, much hay has been made about whether the protein craze is too much. And for some people. . . yeah, it might be. But if you're a bariatric patient, on GLP-1s (both over here), had recent surgery, dietary limitations, chronic illness, etc, you may need to prioritize protein, your doctor is probably letting you know this loudly and repeatedly, and it may be increasingly difficult to keep up when you get sick of the same shakes and bars and can't be cooking all the dang time. This is a solid pick for your rotation to keep things spicy (not literally). Consistency: So clear protein is a fantastic idea. You gotta hydrate, you need protein, sick of the milky goo, badda bing. Problem is, the foam. The foam is CRAZYTOWN. Nutso bananas amount of foam from some of these powders. It's almost impossible to work around. You'll ruin smoothies and waste expensive product. The pre-bottled kind has no foam, but more plastic, quite costly, and invariably seems to have that bizarre sour aftertaste. This stuff? (Practically) no foam. You shake it up and there's this little bit of foam. It disperses like, immediately. And then your protein is actually clear. For real. Get this: When you shake it back up a bit it doesn't foam again. Outstanding. We love to see it. Taste: Taste is pretty decent. I would suggest getting it ice cold, and if you want a change from the base flavor, water it down extra and pop in some flavored drink mix. I tried Wyler's Kiwi Lime, but Lemon is so versatile you have a lot of options. Plus watering it down thins it out so it's closer to straight water, and cuts down on any slight aftertaste if you're a big time stevia hater like me. Also, I'm not vegan. I'm so sorry, but vegetables are icky. Y'all are doing amazing though-- there are a lot of great reasons to shift more plant-based. But like, I had a friend who has been vegan for decades and he was going on about this vegan cheese that was "just as good as the real thing". No, I don't trust that. You may know when something tastes good, but you what you DON'T know is when something tastes *like cheese*. The point I'm meandering to is: yes, this is comparable to any other flavored protein. It doesn't taste like mashed peas or swamp water or anything. Do not fear the plant-based protein juice for this reason. Flavor: The flavor itself gets the glowing endorsement of "perfectly fine". It's pretty good. I am hoping they branch out because it's just not my go-to, exciting, cravable pick. I think that because it's sweet and has just that little bit of protein and sweetener aftertaste, fruity and tart flavors are the way to go-- this one just isn't super punchy. Easy to doctor it up though, it's a super adaptable flavor (and so worth it to not waste an entire tub because you can't handle the foamy nightmare your life has become). Nutrition: Pea protein is a high quality protein, and a complete protein (it's low in one of the amino acids but like, you're fine. You're not living off of pea protein powder. Eat some rice. Bam. Done. ). It also has iron! This is an added bonus if you have a touch of "Haunted Victorian Child" style anemia, and consuming enough iron (and calcium and vitamin c) as part of a healthy diet can help reduce your absorption of lead (dietary lead = bad, scary). Sunwarrior also does 3rd Party Testing for heavy metals (which might be a good baseline for selecting products if you're taking a lot of plant-based supplements). Looking at the other ingredients, nothing in this causes alarm bells, it's pretty clean. Stevia and Monk Fruit aren't my personal favorite sweetener combo, but I think they might be the safest from controversy and adverse affects, and both rank 0 on the glycemic index. The reviews would be a lot funnier if they loaded it up with maltitol though, that's for sure. That's the stuff that put sugar-free gummy bears on the map. In conclusion: Good. 👍🏼"

I like the taste but

"I like the taste but it’s too sweet. I’ve added lemon juice, apple slider vinagre, and extra water. Please make it less sweet."
