Warm Holiday Olives

Looking for a way to jazz up some olives on your holiday table? This recipe will delight with a combination of tart and sweet flavors and bring on that holiday cheer!

The infusion of ingredients slightly encompass the warmth of the olives and bring a little holiday cheer. A modern twist on the ordinary olive is a great addition to any appetizer table.


Warm Holiday Olives

  • ¾ cup of a combination of olives
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup marinated roasted red pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (or more per taste preference) fresh or dried
  • 1 teaspoon honey


In a small saucepan, heat olive oil on medium temperature. Add sun-dried tomato and red pepper. When heated, add thyme and olives. Once heated, add orange juice and zest. Stir and add honey. Feel free to add in some slices of orange, too, if you want to kick up the citrus.  Combine together. Serve warm.
