Summer’s here baby, which means splish splash fun with tropical smoothies!
This smoothie definitely puts me in the mood for the summer! I love all tropical smoothies; they have such a great summery feel to them. This smoothie involves the great combination of pineapple and coconut. Of course, pineapple and coconut just scream tropical goodness! The shredded coconut adds a nice taste and texture to the smoothie. The Sunwarrior vanilla protein adds a nice vanilla flavoring. This smoothie will have you longing to lounge on a tropical island soon.

This delicious fruit has a wealth of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, including potassium, copper, manganese, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, beta carotene, thiamin, B6, and folate, as well as soluble and insoluble fiber.

Coconut contains protein and fiber. Protein helps rebuilds cells and maintains healthy tissues and muscles. It is also a good source of iron. The iron is crucial to the formation hemoglobin, which carry oxygen to each part of your body. Coconut is also a good source of zinc. Zinc is a mineral crucial to the strength and health of your immune system and plays a good role in healing wounds.
Tropical Smoothie Splash
- 1 Scoop Sunwarrior Warrior Blend vanilla protein
- 1 ½ cups almond & coconut milk
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 cup frozen banana
- ½ cup shredded unsweetened coconut plus 2 tablespoons for topping
Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Top with the 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut.
