In this yoga exercise, Zain Saraswati Jamal teaches us a Kundalini kriya. This kriya helps to restore adrenal glands and eliminate cortisol, the hormone released during times of stress.
For this kriya, draw your legs together, heels and toes touching. Press palms together into prayer, arms extended in front of you. Draw your shoulders into your back and inhale. Then exhale as you tip forward, keeping your core engaged to protect your lower back. Continue to flow at your own pace, moving through 23 or 56 reps. When completed, lie down in Shavasana (corpse pose) to allow for complete integration.
