Cranberry Immunity Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Warrior Blend Vanilla Protein
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 organic, whole lemon (if you have a powerful Blendtec or Vitamix that blends things nice and smooth and the lemon is organic, then keep the skin on...it is super high in antioxidants)
  • 1 cup organic cucumber, skin on (if not organic, peel skin)
  • 2 cups coconut almond milk (http://www.gracevanberkum.com/gracious-living-coconut-almond-milk/)
  • cranberry pic1 cup ice
  • 1 drop blood orange essential oil from Living Libations (not all essential oils are safe for consumption. Living Libations is edible.
  • 1 cup coconut water ice (freeze your coconut water into ice cubes)

Optional superfood additions:

  • 1/2 teaspoon camu camu powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 chunk of fresh ginger
  • 1 smaller chunk of fresh turmeric

Directions:

Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy and enjoy!

Cranberries

Cranberries can ward off harmful bacteria from entering the body from accumulating and growing in the gut lining which helps proliferate GOOD immune-boosting bacteria that helps with defense against sickness. Cranberries are full of phytonutrients and antioxidants, which protect cells from damage by unstable molecules called free radicals.
