10 Day Smoothie Detox: Day 6 - PB&J

Peanut butter jelly time! In a smoothie. This fabulous PB&J makes day 6 of Koya’s 10 day detox so much fun!

Day 6 of the 10 day smoothie detox is here, and Koya’s got a yummy surprise that’s full of berry nutty goodness.


10 Day Smoothie Detox: Day 6 - PB&J

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup peanut butter powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sunwarrior Supergreens
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounces almond milk
  • 2 scoops Warrior Blend Mocha


Begin by adding two bananas to your blender. For a nice creamy consistency, add almond milk (or your favorite non-dairy milk). If your favorite PB&J included strawberries, throw in some strawberries. If you were more of a raspberry jelly fan, throw in raspberries. Lover of all things blueberry? Add those. You get the point. Add cinnamon, greens powder, salt, and a pinch of cayenne. Now it’s time to add the PB. Peanuts and peanut butter are high in several B vitamins, vitamin E, and dietary fiber. The high protein and healthy oils can help with diabetes, weight loss, and even Alzheimer’s disease. According to the US Food and Drug Administration, "Scientific evidence suggests but does not prove that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts (such as peanuts) as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease." Continuing with the smoothie, add a scoop or two of protein powder, a bit of vanilla, and finish up with your sweetener of choice. Turn that blender on full blast, boogie down, drink up, and enjoy. PB&J smoothified!
