What Warrior Means to Us
January 03, 2013Sunwarrior. Warriors of the sun. Battling to protect it and the energy it endows. We are champions of the solar energy that is gifted to this planet and collected by the nearly magical plants of this world. Warriors stand up and fight for what they believe in. This doesn’t mean they have to be the aggressors. Warriors can simply be defending their homes, their lives, their families, and their freedom.
Our planet is spiraling out of control. Energy depletion, food consumption, processed foods, pesticides, genetic modifications, environmental disasters, wars, riots, and more crowd the news. Modern medicine is making huge leaps into the future and yet, people are still getting sick and dying from diseases we hoped to cure decades ago. The meat industry dumps massive amounts of methane and carbon into the air while eating up enough plant food to feed multiple nations. Toxins fill our bloodstreams, coming from our water, our food packaging, our furniture, and our carpets. Sunwarrior hopes to do our small part by directing some of the world toward healthier and more sustainable food choices.
Aren’t we all warriors in one sense or another? I fight each day against entropy and death with each breathe and every word I craft and place on a blank page as a wall against chaos. We all create. We all live. We build. We seek happiness. We all strive to do more. Sunwarrior is not a company of war or bloodshed, but we know we all have our little battles and we applaud the warriors out there who make the world a little better each day, just by being a part of it.
