Delicious Raw Blondies
June 19, 2015Jason Wrobel shows you how to make you, your family, and anyone else happy by taking on something on the cookie side of life.
Yes, we’re talking blondies today! You are so very welcome. J-Wro will teach you how to make the very best raw blondies, and this recipe is kid-friendly too, so gather those little ones in to help out. Having healthy options on hand is much easier than guarding the cookie jar 24/7 with those tiny little feet and hands sneaking their way around the kitchen each night.
Adults aren’t blameless either. We tend to go for sweets when we’re tired, stressed, or a little down too. So give yourself a hand with these sweets, which are easy to make and full of protein, selenium, vitamins, minerals, and delicious phytonutrients.
Delicious Raw Blondies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Brazil nuts
- ½ cup ground golden flaxseeds
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup coconut palm sugar
- ½ cup coconut palm nectar
- 1 ½ tablespoons Classic Plus vanilla protein
Directions:
The base is Brazil nuts. Process them into a nice fine consistency, with just the right amount of chunkage. Jason will show ya, don’t worry.
Ground golden flax seed join the fray along with sea salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Then come the sweet stuffs in the way of coconut palm sugar and coconut nectar. They are similar, but their texture differences will work together to make these blondies their yummy best!
J-Wro bumps up the protein with Sunwarrior’s new Classic Plus, which also increases the sweetness without sugar and amplifies the creamy vanilla flavors we want to see.
Drop the dough on one half of a long sheet of parchment paper, folding the other half of the sheet over it. Roll it out until it’s between ¼ to ½ inch thick. Let the kids help roll it if you like.
Cookie cut those blondies out (you should get around 10 to 12) and use sugar free chocolate chips to make smiley faces. They are delicious, fun, and less in need of guarding.
Place them on a plate or sheet and put in the fridge for an hour or two to set. Then enjoy!
