Mineralize to Revitalize Your Life

Minerals are an essential part of the physiological processes of the body. Our bodies are electrical, and without minerals those electric currents would have a hard time moving throughout our bodies. Of course, that probably means we would be six feet under. But it isn’t just about electric currents; a lot of diseases form because of a lack of the vital minerals we need within our bodies.

I believe food sources are the best way to restore mineral balance. The best sources of minerals are in the dark leafy greens, however something commonly overlooked in western society is the different seaweeds. The two seaweeds I currently use are Sea Moss and Bladderwrack powder. These offer 92 of the 102 minerals of which the body is composed. Some of the effects may be:

  • An ability to scavenge chemicals, drugs, heavy metals, and radioisotopes throughout the body
  • Anti-aging properties
  • Strengthened immunity
  • Strengthened thyroid (underactive)
  • Fewer instances or reduced symptoms of heartburn
  • Possible anti-inflammatory benefits due to fucoidans
  • Regulation of estrogen for women who have excessive estrogen secretion or are predisposed to estrogen sensitive conditions
  • Lowered cholesterol
  • Reduced formation of varicose veins
  • Revitalization of the different organs
  • Anti-viral, anticoagulant, and antithrombotic
  • Reduced halitosis

Seaweed is also:

  • A great natural source of iodine and potassium iodide (KI)
  • An excellent source of bioavailable iron

These are just a few benefits of seaweed. I try to make sure I have some every day, usually by adding seaweed powder to a smoothie. Here’s one of my favorite recipes:

  • 1 apple, sliced
