November 30, 2015How many times have you heard someone say, I’m too busy to eat healthy? How many times have you said it? These to-go smoothie recipes take away the excuses!
Starbucks drive thru, McDonald’s value meal, Coffee bean summer drinks that are filled with sugary syrups, and fruit flavored drinks have become a trend. These are the to-go foods that we, as consumers, support and enable in our day-to-day lives. Kids heading to schools, moms and dads driving to work, or people who are constantly on the go—society is busier than ever. And at this point, eating the right kind of food takes a back seat to the schedule. We feel we no longer have time to control our health and the choices we make. We basically eat what we find ready and available right now, and move on with our day. This is the easy way.
But what is easy is not always right, as we know.
