Realize Your Future with a Vision Board
November 10, 2015What do you do when you have goals and dreams that aren’t yet realized? Visualize those dreams with a vision board.
Culinary chef and nutritionist Sheree Clark has a healthy tip to answer a viewer’s question that has less to do with food and more to do with well-being. Many of us feel like we’re in ruts, stuck doing the same things over and over again. Here’s one way to get yourself heading in a new direction.
Sheree isn’t immune to those feelings either, so a couple times a year she puts together a vision board, usually in January and July. That lets her jumpstart her year and her summer. Start collecting images throughout the year that appeal to you from magazines, photographs, calendars, or anywhere else you find them. Then spend a few hours with a cup of tea, maybe some soothing music, and put together your board. It doesn’t have to look amazing, but make it something that speaks to you and your sensibilities. Sheree likes hers to look nice. Whatever yours looks like is yours, and it is perfect.
Use your vision board as a reminder of who you are and who you want to be. Let it guide you and influence your goals. This is your vision of your life and your purpose. You might be surprised at what speaks to you, how it comes together, and what it manifests for you in your life.
