This version of crunchy, earthy, lemony chips has a flavor infusion of herbs inspired by the mid-Eastern culture. Its kale chips with substance. They’re protein and calcium-rich bursting with vitamins making for a sin-free indulgence that will grace whatever you choose to pair it with. Of course, you can eat them as is, hand to mouth.
I store them in 12oz containers – stainless steel or glass jars, for a quick snack to grab while on the go or if I am stuck at the computer on a project and needing some fuel of substance that is easy to eat.
Find spices like Zataar and sumac (it’s also great with these) in Mid-Eastern stores. Don’t fret over seeing a large bag of the spice. It’s a wonderful infusion of flavor, perfect for marinades, salad dressings, popcorn, grilled and roasted veggies, and so much more. Plus, it keeps well for about six months stored in an airtight container.
