Kid Friendly Fruit Pizza

In this vegan recipe video, Jason Wrobel shows you how to whip up a kid friendly recipe: Fruit Pizza!

Treat your child, your younger siblings, the kids you babysit, or just your own inner child with this super easy, vegan, gluten free fruit pizza.

Not much says kid more than bright colors and sweet pizza, but this pizza is full of organic fresh fruit with all the joyful antioxidants, flavonoids, and sweet vitamins and minerals that can only come with whole foods.

Kid Friendly Fruit Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups coconut butter
  • 1 scoop Classic Plus vanilla protein
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 3 to 4 gluten free tortillas
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Your choice of fruits, sliced
  • Sprinkle finely shredded coconut

Directions:

You’ll start with your pizza sauce, which is simply coconut butter, Sunwarrior Vanilla protein (Classic Plus in this case), and sea salt, and give them about a minute in a blender. This sauce is sweet, buttery, creamy, and the perfect platform for all your fruit.

Speaking of platforms, you need a crust. Set your sauce aside and break out your favorite gluten free tortillas.

Brush the tortillas with coconut oil and bake them up nice at 350° F for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, for a crispy addition to your recipe.

Slather that baby in your sauce and prepare the fruit tornado that’s about to touch down.

Use your favorites and what’s in season for best results. J-Wro goes with bananas, pineapple, tangerines, strawberries, blueberries, and goji berries. Here are some optional additions too: vegan chocolate chips and finely shredded coconut. You could also try kiwi fruit, coconut caramel drizzles, grape slices, and so much more. Make it your own! Own it and eat it!

You can try slicing this pizza up, but it might be easier and more fun to just lift the whole thing to your mouth and eat it like a giant disk made for your mouth. We suppose you could start with smaller tortillas, but where’s the fun in that?! Make it big enough to make you feel silly, which is exactly how you should feel when getting in touch with your inner child once more. It stays solidly healthy though, which is a great bonus to snacking like you’re a toddler once more.
