Basil Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons lakanto
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 4–5 fresh basil leaves
  • 4–5 ounces of sparkling mineral water
  • Splash of Sunwarrior Vitamin Mineral Rush

Directions:

Start by making your syrup flavor base with boiling water and lakanto, a sweetener made from monk fruit with no sugar. Juice in a lime and add fresh basil leaves to get all the best flavors melding together. Basil is related to mint, so it is a very good counterpoint to citrus. Try it in fresh squeezed orange juice, lemonade, and with citrus in your savory meals too. You won’t be sorry. Pour it into a jar and let it cool for half an hour or so. Now add sparkling mineral water. As an optional boost, try Sunwarrior’s Vitamin Mineral Rush for extra vitamins, minerals, the power of fulvic acid, and a good tangy sweetness all its own. Then bring on the ice to chill this limeade down to the perfect temperature, aka super cold, for your enjoyment. That’s it. It really is that simple to find your refreshment and make your friends extra happy too…that’s if you share anyway.
