Barre Lunges and Squats to Strengthen Your Legs

Marzia Prince, Healthy Housewife and fabulous fitness trainer, brings us something from the ballet and dancer's wheelhouse this time, barre lunges and barre squats. These exercises help tone and slim your legs for perceived length by working the tiniest muscle groups in your core, legs, and glutes to stabilize you. Lunge first. Come up, point your back toe, and squeeze your glutes. Kick it into intermediate or advanced with ankle weights and/or dumbbells. Then do squats. Once again, kick and point as you come up and use weights to intensify this work out.
