Healthy never tasted so good! This carrot cake smoothie with a green smoothie option will slam your taste buds with happiness and health!

Do YOU love carrot cake? I sure do, and I never indulge, but here is a way you can get that amazing healthy spicy flavor with more nutrients and less frosting.

This is a hearty but guilt free smoothie that any carrot cake and coconut love would enjoy. You can make it green or not. You can make it with more walnuts or fewer, depending on your tastes. You can make it super cinnamon-y spicy or not. Hey, this is YOUR carrot cake smoothie. Let’s go crazy! This requires a high speed blender to blend the carrots.

Sunwarrior Carrot Cake Smoothie & Green Smoothie Option!

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Classic Plus vanilla protein
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/4–1 cup organic raw walnuts (You decide how many calories as you can handle!) If you want some walnuts chunky, add some early and some later. Definitely remove the shells before blending!
  • ½ young coconut flesh
  • 1 cup organic vanilla almond milk
  • 1 large frozen organic banana
  • 1/8–3/4 teaspoon organic pumpkin pie spice

Optional:

  • 1 cup organic kale leaves
  • 1–2 organic Medjool date, pitted
  • ¼–½ teaspoon organic, alcohol-free vanilla (or even better: a piece of an organic vanilla bean!)

If you want this green, start with the almond milk and kale leaves in the blender until the kale is liquefied.

If you want this smoothie to be orange colored, just start with the almond milk.

Then add the carrots, half the walnuts, your coconut flesh, and Sunwarrior protein. Blend until smooth and creamy. Then add your frozen banana and pulse with the pumpkin pie spice. If you want your smoothie sweeter, add the date. If you want more vanilla, add vanilla, if you want some chewy walnuts, toss some in while slow pulsing to finish.

If I added the Kale, I might want the date, but it depends on how sweet you want to be.
