No Bake Coconut Protein Balls

Baking: ain’t nobody got time for that! That’s why we give you no bake coconut protein balls!

Coconut is one of my favorite things to eat, but many recipes containing coconut are saturated in fat, cholesterol, and sugar. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy this delicious flavor while eating ingredients that are natural. These no bake coconut balls are perfect for satisfying your chocolate craving, and the beauty of it? They contain plant-based Sunwarrior protein! Yes, chocolate protein can and should be incorporated into your snacks because it adds to the flavor and helps fuel your body in a variety of beneficial ways.

These balls take no longer than 20 minutes to make, and the best part is the cleanup: one bowl and one mixing spoon! I like to experiment with these types of snacks during the warmer months because no oven is needed to cook them, keeping your home nice and cool. Serve them to your kids as a healthy snack or to your friends at your next dinner party, and they will all be impressed at the savory and decadent taste of these treats!

No Bake Coconut Protein Balls

  • ½ cup (100% almonds) almond butter
  • ½ cup organic unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 scoops Sunwarrior Classic Chocolate protein
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2–2 ½ tablespoons unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons organic vanilla extract
  • *sprinkle Himalayan sea salt
  • *extra organic unsweetened shredded coconut
Total Time

Prep Time

5 min

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl (note – the almond milk helps bind all ingredients together so start with 2 tablespoons, and only use a little more if the mixture is too dry. Be careful to use any extra almond milk sparingly – if the mixture gets too soggy, then you have to start fresh)

Shape the batter into balls with your fingers

Roll the balls into unsweetened shredded coconut spread across a flat surface, so the flakes evenly coat the balls

Place into refrigerator for 20 minutes before eating (and use as place of storage for rest of the balls)
