Gracious Living Creamy Spicy Sweet Potato (Vegan) Soup


  • 1 cooked, peeled sweet potato (steaming is faster than baking)
  • 1/2 red apple, seeded and cubed
  • 1 can sulfite-free coconut milk
  • 1 cup pure water
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Sprinkle cayenne pepper
  • Sprinkle turmeric
  • Sea salt to desired taste

Topping Ideas:

Top with (sprouted) sunflower seeds, fresh sprouts, or shredded unsweetened coconut.
