Protein bars when homemade are packed with good amounts of carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats. While store bought nutrition bars can be packed with too much sugar and unwanted preservatives and additives. They can be a meal replacement or quick pre and post workout snacks or even a great way to make healthy eating fun of your kids by allowing them to assist you when you make them.

Here are some protein bar recipes that you can whip up within 5 minutes

5 Minute Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Hemp seeds
  • ½ cup dry grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut butter
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Using a food processor, pulse all ingredients until the nuts have released oils and all ingredients are mixed smoothly and neatly.
  2. Cut them into your desired shape and store it in refrigerator
