10 Day Smoothie Detox: Day 3 – Blueberry Bliss

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces filtered water
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 chard leaf
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 drops stevia
  • 2 tablespoons Warrior Blend mocha protein

DIRECTIONS

Start your smoothie off with 8 ounces of water. Add bananas (or if you’re not a banana fan, substitute mangoes or peaches). Koya’s a huge advocate for variety when it comes to greens, so today she’s using chard, but use what you love. Throw in ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. Next, for B12 and protein, add some spirulina. Add cayenne or paprika, some cinnamon, and finally the piece de resistance – blueberries. For a little zing and zest, add lemon. And finish with vanilla and stevia for some sweetness. Give your blender a whir, and make sure you get your heart going by doing the boogie. If you love your protein powder, add a scoop or two, and give the blender another go. Pour into your favorite glass, and drink the sweetness that is the blueberry bliss smoothie.
