Perfect for a quick breakfast or a pre or post workout boost, this creamy, dreamy smoothie loaded with Vitamins A, C, E, and B-Complex as well as free-radical fighting antioxidants is all you need to nourish, energize, and revitalize your body, mind, and spirit.
3/4 -1 Cup DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Chai (steeped and cooled)
1 Cup Raw Pumpkin (cut into pieces) OR 1 Cup Unsweetened BPA Free Pumpkin Puree
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond OR Cashew Milk (homemade works deliciously here)
1/2 tsp Fresh Ginger (minced)
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 Frozen Banana
1/2 Tbsp Coconut Butter
1 Vanilla Pod (optional)
1/4 tsp Natural Vanilla
1 tsp Maca Root (optional)
1 Scoop Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein Powder OR Protein Powder of Your Choice (optional)
1 tsp Raw Honey OR 5 Drops Vanilla Creme Stevia OR Natural Sweetener of Your Choice
3-5 Ice Cubes
**Note, for a breakfast smoothie add 1/2 Cup Oats and 1 Tbsp Walnuts to this recipe
1. Blend until smooth, sprinkle with cinnamon and top with coconut whip (just blend the cream from a can of light coconut milk to a whip-like consistency!)
