Zain’s Homemade Cashew Milk

Making your own ❤nutmilk❤ is simple, delicious & so healthy.

Ingredients are:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup organic cashews
  • Pinch Himalayan crystal salt
  • ¼ vanilla pod (optional)
  • Few drops of vanilla stevia or sweetener of choice (optional)

Step 1- Soak 1 cup organic cashews in 2 cups water for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Step 2- Add soaked, sprouted cashews and soaking water to your blender or Vitamix with 1 cup water (3 cups total), a pinch of Himalayan crystal salt, 1/4 vanilla pod (optional) & sweetener of your choice (also optional) I use vanilla stevia.

Step 3- Blend.

Step 4- Strain cashew milk through a fine sieve or nut milk bag OR skip this step if you don’t mind it a little gritty.

*This makes a 2% milk consistency, if you like thinner milk, add ½–1 cup more water in the blend.
