Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram, better known as Fully Raw Kristina, has been sharing her message of health and hope for 13 years. Now she wants to share with you!
When Kristina was eighteen years old, she was diagnosed with hyperglycemia and type 2 diabetes and suffered from intense migraine headaches. Her health issues sucked her life energy and made her emaciated. At 5’ 7”, she weighed a dangerous 87 pounds.
At that critical time in her life, as she sought solutions to better health, she met a raw foods coach who guided her to an alternative way of fueling her body. She committed to eating raw food (peaches) for two weeks. Her internal transformation within those two weeks gave her hope for a healthy, vibrant future.
With a new lease on life, Kristina was able to restore her health and gain healthy weight eating only raw foods. She continued in her learning and graduated from Rice University in 2009 with majors in Kinesiology and Health Science. (Kristina also graduated with a major in vocal performance. Some of the team at Sunwarrior got to hear her spontaneous singing, amazing us with her talent.)
Kristina has a mission to share her experience with others so that they can free themselves from illness. She has a strong voice and has gathered audiences on YouTube and Instagram with over one million followers each.
Today Kristina runs six to seven miles every day and performs an hour of intense Yoga, providing her body and mind with energy to create value in her own life and the lives of others.
