- 3 cups black mission figs, dried
- 1 ½ cups hazelnuts
- ¾ cup golden flax seeds
- ¾ cup gluten free oats
- 1 scoop Warrior Blend vanilla protein
- A little vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 4–6 tablespoons bee-free honey
To make the flour, add hazelnuts, flax seeds, oats, and protein powder to blender. Halfway through check consistency. Should be a fine flour; if not, blend longer. If flour is ready, add vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and honey and blend to make dough. May need to mix a bit with spatula to help blend.
Put dough on sheet of parchment paper and form the dough a bit, flattening it. Add another sheet of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to evenly flatten dough. Cut off edges to make a perfect rectangle and cut in half.
Spread fig paste on top of one square of the dough. Leave about ¼ inch of dough on every side of the square. Flip over other dough square on top of square with fig paste. Pinch edges together. Cut into bite-sized squares and plate.
