Ormus Supergreens, a Naturopathic Perspective
November 06, 2014I have been studying natural health since 1993. First I became a Certified Nutritionist, graduating in 1999. And then I began studying Naturopathy and graduated with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. Since starting on a path toward optimal health over 20 years ago, green superfood concentrate powders have always been a staple of my diet and I always suggest them to those who are seeking improved health.
Everyone knows it is very difficult to maintain long-term health without consuming a healthy diet. You may also know that we cannot have a completely healthy diet without including dark green plants.
Ormus Supergreens contains the sprouts of young plants that have been juiced and then dried at temperatures below 99 degrees Fahrenheit. This method allows them to retain their life giving health benefits.
My research has led me to the understanding that the pH of our blood needs to be maintained at approximately 7.3 to 7.4 for optimal health. This usually becomes more and more difficult as we age since we tend to become acidic. However, green plant food is the most alkaline forming food available today. It is very difficult to get enough greens by consuming salads each day to sufficiently maintain the pH of our bloodstream at an optimal level without either juicing loads of green produce or taking a green superfood powder. Maintaining proper pH is one of the keys to optimal health.
Green plant food is loaded with chlorophyll. Human red blood cells and the chlorophyll of plants are amazingly similar. It has been found that consuming chlorophyll helps us build our own red blood cells. Our red blood cells carry oxygen to every cell in our body, giving us energy and vibrancy.
Chlorophyll is also an excellent way to deodorize the human body. Everything from bad breath to fowl smelling body odor is made better with the consistent consumption of chlorophyll.
Vitamins and minerals are best absorbed and utilized when they come directly from organically grown plants. The juice of young plant sprouts is one of the most easily absorbable sources of these micronutrients. Ormus Supergreens are loaded with micronutrients, enzymes, antioxidants, and probiotics.
Since Sunwarrior introduced Ormus Supergreens in 2009, I have been consuming them as a daily staple of my diet. The benefits of consuming them are enormous.
