A Yogi’s Meditation

You are a vibration with a head and a heart. Your head and your heart affect your vibration. You control your head and heart and therefore you control how you vibrate, which directly corresponds to the vibrations that come back to you.

Life is a journey of learning to listen to our vibes, trust our vibes, and keep our vibes high. What you put in, is what comes out, is what comes back.

Let’s reflect on this....

We all know that when we eat healthy things, we feel good.

We all know that when we eat heavy, processed foods, we feel lethargic.

We all know that when we are around happy, joyful, peaceful, people, we feel energized and inspired.

We all know that it is draining to be around miserable people.

We all know that when we are immersed in nature, we become calm.

We all know that when we take care of our bodies, our bodies take care of us.

Everything we do has an effect on our future. Everything we eat, everything we think, everything we watch, everything we read, everything we say, every situation we put ourselves in, affects our energy levels. Our choices of today become our future of tomorrow.

Make sense?

And our vibrations affect the vibrations of those around us.

And what we put out into the world is what comes back to us. When we put out negative vibes in the world, that energy boomerangs back to us in some way. When we put out positivity, love, and gratitude, our lives become abundant and enough. Our personal world is a reflection of what is going on inside of us. Our innermost beliefs become our reality, so ultimately we create the world we choose to live in. If we want to keep our beliefs and thoughts hopeful, empowered, loving, and peaceful, then it is paramount that we surround ourselves with such things. We adopt the vibrations of our surroundings.

So I ask you, how do you choose to vibrate today? How do you choose to vibrate as you move through your life?

I encourage you to start thinking about yourself as a vibration, as an energetic being. Pay attention to how things affect you.

  • Does a person inspire you, or do they drain you?
  • Does a food energize you, or make you feel tired and heavy?
  • Does a situation or activity uplift you, or does it make you feel bad about yourself?
  • Does whatever you CHOOSE to do in this moment come from the heart, or are you just doing what you were told you had to do?
  • Are you living your truth, or are you just going through the motions?
  • HOW DO I FEEL?

Check in with yourself. These are questions you constantly have to ask yourself.

Let you inner navigation system guide you to the life you were meant to live.

When something, some food, or someone, makes you feel tired, heavy, drained, depleted, moody, sad, or negative in any way, then you need to try a different approach. You always have a choice to move in the direction that you want to. (Happy, healthy directions are always preferred, right?!)

Sometimes, it takes stepping away from something and then coming back to it to realize how much it feeds your soul . . . or doesn't feed your soul. Life is one big experiment of finding your own happiness and freedom through gracious personal power. Let openness, courage, curiosity, and self-love expand you and propel you forward, instead of letting fear constrict you and hold you back. Pay attention to what energizes you. Pay attention to what gives you life. You know what's best for you if you tune in and listen.

Follow your energy.

Follow your vibrations.

Follow your expansiveness.

Follow your love.

All of these will lead you to why you were put on this earth.

The universe wants you to know that you are important!
